The NutriWright store opens soon · The app is in final testing for iPhone and Android

How the household check works

Each member of a NutriWright household records allergies, conditions and medications in the app. When you shop signed in, every product’s ingredient list is compared with the household’s rules (for example, a peanut allergy, celiac disease, or a medication class with known food interactions).

What it does

  • Hides products that conflict, or blocks adding them to the cart.
  • Checks every item again when checkout starts.

What it doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t replace the label or your clinician. Every product page lists who should ask a clinician first: read it.
  • It covers the allergens, conditions and medication classes in our rule table. Some label warnings (for example sodium content, blood thinners or kidney disease) aren’t rules yet, so always read the label.

What the store learns

Only a verdict for each product: “fine” or “not for this household”. Never who in the household it applies to, or why. Your health details stay in the app, encrypted on NutriWright’s own server.

1

Your household, in the app

Each member keeps their allergies, conditions and medications in the NutriWright app. It stays encrypted on NutriWright’s own server and is never shared with Shopify.

2

Every product, checked

When you shop signed in, each product’s ingredients run against the household’s rules. Anything that conflicts is hidden or can’t be added to the cart.

3

A verdict, not a diagnosis

The store only learns “fine” or “not for this household”: never who or why. Labels still list who should ask a clinician first. The check doesn’t replace that.
